Maternity Look: sexy and feminine even if you are pregnant

My style tips for this Valentine’s day are dedicated to the maternity look, to be sexy and feminine even if you’re pregnant.

Once again, the idea came to me through Élise Lefort, who today on her blog The Sparkling Mommy talks about how to dress for special occasions if you are pregnant.

Here are some tips for maternity look for a romantic night:

LACE

For a romantic and feminine style, choose a lace dress. If it’s your last trimester or you have few extra pounds, you can wear it only for inserts or details, without transparencies.

ANIMALIER

For a sexier and fashionista style, I would choose the animalier pattern. Do you think it’s too excessive? Well, if even an icon of style and elegance like Kate Middleton, uses it, I would say that it’s fine…

SCHOOLTEACHER

A sexy style is the one of the school teacher… even for a maternity look? why not? You don’t believe me-Look how cute this one is from ASOS…

NECKLINE

Of course, with moderation. But, why not enjoying a bigger size of bra (as long as it lasts)? The V-neck, in general, elongates the neck and slims the body. So it’s not only sexy, but also strategic!

LEGS…

If legs are your strong point, don’t hesitate to put them on display! A dress above the knee can make you very feminine. And once again Kate Middleton is an excellent example of this:

GO LONG

Pregnant or not, the long dress has always its charm. And, for a romantic night, it’s the best choice!In short, this will be the last Valentine’s day with just you two, and it’s an important holiday…You should be daring!

ACCESSORIES

So if you don’t want to daring with maternity clothes, you can play with accessories: red shoes, cuissard boots, an important necklace, an It Bag…
